User Account Deletion Policy

This User Account Deletion Policy (the "Policy") outlines the procedures and conditions under which a User may terminate their relationship with the Soveh Platform and request the erasure of their personal data.

1. Initiation Of Deletion Request

Users desiring to terminate their account must submit a formal request through authorized channels to ensure the security of the account.

  • Submission Channel: Requests must be sent via the registered email address to support@soveh.com.
  • Mandatory Information: The request must include:
  • The registered Mobile Number.
  • The registered Email Address.
  • A brief statement confirming the intent to permanently delete the account.

2. Verification And Processing Timeline

To prevent unauthorized or fraudulent account closures, the Company will undergo a verification process.

  • Timeline: Once identity is verified, the Company will process the deletion request within 7 business days.
  • Cooling-off Period: During this period, the User may be restricted from placing new orders or initiating transactions.

3. Data Erasure And Retention Hierarchy

3.1 Personal Data Removal

Upon successful processing, the User’s PII (Personally Identifiable Information) will be purged from our active production databases.

3.2 Statutory Retention

Pursuant to the Companies Act, 2013 and various tax laws, the Company is legally mandated to retain certain data points, including:

  • Financial Transaction Records: Invoices and payment history (retained for audit purposes).
  • Legal Logs: Data required for ongoing litigation, law enforcement requests, or fraud prevention.
  • AI Training Sets: Anonymized and aggregated data used for technology development, which no longer identifies the individual user, may be retained indefinitely.

4. Obligations For Retailer (B2b) Accounts

The closure of a Retailer Partner account is subject to the settlement of commercial obligations:

  • Debt Clearance: All outstanding dues, credits, and invoices must be settled in full.
  • Order Fulfillment: All active or "In-Transit" orders must be marked as "Delivered" and the 24-hour return window must have expired.
  • Inventory: Any stock-related disputes must be resolved before the Company approves the final deletion.

5. Consequences Of Deletion

Account deletion is an irreversible action. Upon completion:

  • Access Loss: The User will immediately lose access to the Soveh mobile application and web dashboard.
  • Forfeiture of Benefits: Any accrued loyalty points, membership tiers, or promotional credits will be permanently cancelled and cannot be transferred.
  • Records: Order history and digital receipts will no longer be accessible to the User.

6. Re-registration

Should a User wish to return to the Platform, they must undergo a fresh registration process. Historical data from the deleted account cannot be linked or migrated to the new account.
